It was always the Gantt family tradition growing to send out Christmas cards with a photo of our family (or at least the 3 Gantt Girls). My mom, two sisters, and I would always coordinate outfits and set the scene. It is so fun to look back on these cards. The Gantt family has now grown and this means multiple Christmas cards. Mom and dad still send out their card with the entire family (including the dogs). Ash and B send out a card for their family (of course Maddison and Lily are included). I am excited this year to take the second Rogerson family Christmas card…..with our new addition Zoe (Jinx can't wait!).

Happy Halloween

I made the girls tutus in hope that they would be ballerinas for Halloween. They however, had other plans. They wanted to be WWF Wrestlers instead.

Our New Addition

Meet our new addition Zoe. We weren't planning on adding a puppy but we are already in love with her! Jinx is going to be a great big sister. They will be wonderful playmates.

Spring Fever

We have spring fever around here. We planted tulips, hyacinths, acuba, nandinas, lilys, a bleeding heart, and several perennial flowers. This is just the start...I'm excited about adding to our yard. We also have a garden going with broccoli, cauliflower, onions, potatoes, cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, okra, and lettuce. Lance says I have a purple thumb so we will see how everything turns out. It is fun and therapeutic to be out working in the yard. Its a fun way for Lance, Jinx, and myself to spend a Saturday.

Snow 2010!

Snow arrived this past weekend (Valentine's weekend)! What a lovely surprise and beautiful way to spend a weekend together!

Halloween!!!!

I couldn't resist this lobster costume for the Jinxster! It was just too cute and so perfect! I made cookies for our neighbors so we could get to know them better. We took Jinx with us around the block to meet everyone. She loved it! We also enjoyed Halloween parties at the Colliers and the Teachys home.

Date Night (Nights)

Our friends gave Lance a gift card to Port City Chop House and to the movies for his birthday (his birthday was in July). It took us until the middle of October to find time to have a date night....but it was well worth the wait! The food at Port City Chop House was amazing! Lance had filet mignon and I had shrimp scampi. The best part was the cappuccino ice cream and chocolate cake!!!! We had planned on going to see the movie Where the Wild Things Are but were so stuffed and tired we had to wait until the next week to see it. The way I figure- this just stretched out my date with my favorite guy!
