26 Weeks

Baby Rogerson is progressing along.  My belly is getting rounder and people are finally noticing I'm pregnant.  We went for the 26 week appointment.  Everything still looked great and he is growing just as he should. 

Mama, daddy, Ashley and Alison came to visit to celebrate my birthday for the weekend.  We had lots of fun eating out (two pregnant ladies!), shopping (we are Gantt girls aren't we?), and spending time together.  We checked out the Duck Duck Goose kids consignment sale and found clothes for the babies.  GG found a double stroller (Winnie the Pooh....ha!) so she can stroll around the block with her boys.  Daddy and Alison were good sports as we visited lots of fabric stores looking for things to put in Ashley's new house.  Can't wait till they visit again in April...then again when the baby is here!  Yikes!  I got lots of great gifts...sewing books/patterns, shoes, scarf...lots of fun stuff.

Lance and I went to Bonefish on my actual birthday.  It was yummy.  Then afterwards we got a piece of my favorite chocolate cake from Port City Chop House.  See how excited I was!  Lance gave me a gift card for a 60 minute foot massage and pedicure!  Denise and Heath gave me a manicure!  Can't wait to use those in the next month or so.

I have also been to the Dr and had my glucola test done.  Before I went, I imagined the WORST possible scenario.  I hate drinking anything nasty.  But it wasn't as bad as I thought!  I drank the fruit punch nastiness, waited an hour (watch netflix on my phone), and had my blood drawn.  The nurse found my veins the first go round.  She was awesome.  I haven't heard back from the test, but I assume no news is good news.  We go back to the Dr next week for our 28 week apt.  Then we will begin going every 2 weeks vs. 4 weeks.  That means it is getting closer!!!


Over all I have felt really good.  I am really tired in the evenings and my back has been hurting pretty bad.  The heating pad is my best friend.  But overall I can't complain.  I am grateful the baby is healthy and progressing as he should.
